| So Lo Pun village. Some local Chinese believe this village to be haunted and that all the past residents of the village died on the same day in a boating accident. It can be quite spooky at times. The whole village and it's immediate surroundings used to be densely overgrown with trees and suitably atmospheric. Unfortunately, in 2008 about 400 fully grown, beautiful trees were cut down with the intention to develop the site (which is in the middle of a country park). Thankfully no further development has taken place and it all seems to have stopped ..... for the time being. |
